double elmination is a bit premature, see how many teams we get first, lol
theres usually a lot of slut teams at dm lan, but i doubt they would be willing to pay the extra $10 to compete.
hopefully there is a nice turnout though.

even if we dont get many teams competing, it might spark some interest in the tas community, being held at a venue with ~100 people there, its decent exposure for Anything Interactive and proper competitive CSS in tasmania

heh, tasmania doesnt have many actual teams, but dw there will be plenty of people keen on the day (last minute slut teams lol)
tbh im not real worried about the team prerego, the LAN prerego is looking promising already though. 50ppl and its been open for like 2 days
MZ9 will be in there, and a decent tas slut team, theres also some talk about hype getting some players to come down, and maybe tempest.

really? i didnt think many people still played 1.6 in this state of ours otherwise i would have pushed for a 1.6 qual as well. with people like manik and drache coming to css, i figured it was only because there wasnt a 1.6 community to support in tasmania |
